An excellent afternoon session (took half a day's leave). Wind more or less straight down the lake but with a bit of a shadow in front of the club house. Well powered on 5.3 and Max 2 Air. Overpowered at times but also some big holes so stuck with the 5.3. Max 2 Air gives excellent control. Water pretty rough (for a reservoir).

Found it easiest to hook in early then bear away and pump the sail to get going. Feet in straps, a couple more little pumps and then amazing acceleration. Need to work on the carving and gybing on this board. 25cm fin was easy to lock back in if it span out.

Wind died down later so took out the Bee 274 with the 5.3. Planes earlier and faster than the Max, but then the wind came back and the Bee felt out of control.
